The next official demos (including this one) will only provide bug fixes and graphics\/sound\/music enhancement. I now focus my work on adding levels and quests for the final release, which won&#8217;t be visible in this demo (especially new content).<\/p>\n<p>The main new things I&#8217;ve done since December are:<\/p>\n<p>Content<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 new levels: Desert pagoda, Aqualums counsellor villa, Water Dojo, and a prototype for the slingshot Dojo.<\/li>\n<li>2 new bosses + physics optimisation: Sand and Water guardians<\/li>\n<li>new items: rocks, plants\/vegetation, doors, windows, kitchen items, stained glass, ramps, lights&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>new title and logo<\/li>\n<li>updated design of the robots and the guild guys<\/li>\n<li>light rigs for new levels<\/li>\n<li>new climbing moves and new item: the magnetic gauntlet<\/li>\n<li>update of climbing tutorial<\/li>\n<li>update of vegetation shader for a better wind effect<\/li>\n<li>update of Zephyr Island<\/li>\n<li>update of the main character: assymetric hair, holster for the bo, magnetic gauntlet and graple armlet<\/li>\n<li>mini cutscenes for some of the switch mechanics<\/li>\n<li>music selection menu for the flute item<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Code &amp; optimisation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>upgrade to Unity 5<\/li>\n<li>upgrade to DirectX 11<\/li>\n<li>upgrade to deferred shading, which enables lots of active lights at the same time<\/li>\n<li>shader bug fixes among which reflected fog in water<\/li>\n<li>physics and clothes bug fixes<\/li>\n<li>creation of 2D and 3D noise texture for various effects (vegetation, smart auto uv mapping, &#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>better cutscene and dialogs coding<\/li>\n<li>big physics collision matrix optimisation<\/li>\n<li>big reflection optimisation by disabling shadows and point lights with forward rendering<\/li>\n<li>animation optimization for lianas, ropes and chains<\/li>\n<li>gameplay mechanics code factorisation<\/li>\n<li>update of all mechanics in Blender levels to take into account the code refactorisation<\/li>\n<li>draw call optimisation for new levels<\/li>\n<li>armature animation optimisation for pirates and guards<\/li>\n<li>new official landing page for the game<\/li>\n<li>lots lots lots of minor bug fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s broken ?<\/h3>\n<p>You didn&#8217;t expect everything to work perfectly, did you? I&#8217;m aware of a few bugs\/regressions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environments are still a bit empty<\/li>\n<li>Some sounds must be re-designed<\/li>\n<li>The game lacks some music\/sounds<\/li>\n<li>Some camera moves are a bit harsh<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Controls<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>ZQSD or WASD<\/b>: move the character. It&#8217;s both AZERTY and QWERTY compatible<\/li>\n<li><b>Space<\/b>: jump and climb<\/li>\n<li><b>Shift<\/b>: crouch, fall and block<\/li>\n<li><b>Mouse move<\/b>: move the camera<\/li>\n<li><b>E<\/b>: weapon selection menu<\/li>\n<li><b>Left click<\/b>: main weapon (Bo) or contextual action<\/li>\n<li><b>Right click<\/b>: secondary weapon<\/li>\n<li><b>Tab<\/b>: inventory\/map\/missions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have fun!
